The Green Futures Network’s Climate Adaptation Community of Practice is open to all organisations across the UK that are working to develop their understanding of and engagement with adaptation.
May’s topic is the role of local knowledge in understanding and acting on climate adaptation. What does local knowledge look like in different places, and what can we learn from it? How can we collect and use these stories alongside other climate data? The session will feature a presentation by Dr Alan Kennedy-Asser, Senior Research Associate at the University of Bristol’s School of Geographical Sciences.
