The Green Futures Network’s Climate Adaptation Community of Practice is open to all organisations across the UK that are working to develop their understanding of and engagement with adaptation.
These opt-in sessions are open to anyone but you’ll only get the invitation if you sign up, with the idea that it brings a smaller group for topics that might not be relevant to everyone.
February’s opt-in session will be a workshop led by the University of Exeter on ‘Evaluating community-led interventions to maximise the health and well-being of climate change adaptations for extreme events.’ The first part of the session will be a presentation by Prof. Neil Adger on measuring well-being outcomes of adaptation actions and reflections from flood risk interventions, followed by a focus group discussion on community-led adaptation to climate change for extreme weather events in the UK.
