Read about our Steering Group and how the strategic direction for the network is developed.
The Green Futures Network is informed by a Steering Group composed of representatives from different parts of the University of Exeter. The role of the Steering Group is to inform and approve the strategic direction of the network, including the priority challenges to respond to, and to ensure joined up and collaborative engagement from across the University’s disparate disciplines and departments.
During Phase 2 of the Steering Group, from late 2023 onwards, network members external to the University of Exeter will be invited to join the Steering Group. Steering Group members are invited to join quarterly online meetings, advising on the priorities for the network and helping to articulate its impact and potential.
This is an ongoing opportunity, but expressions of interest are welcomed before the end of January 2024. If you would like to discuss this opportunity, please contact Peter.

Emma Bland
Associate Professor in Practice in Environment, Health and Wellbeing with the European Centre for the Environment and Human Health.
Patrick Devine-Wright (Chair)
Professor in Human Geography, IPCC Lead Author and Chair of the Devon Net Zero Climate Emergency Task Force.
Alex Huke
Head of Environment and Clean Growth in the Innovation, Impact and Business team.
Andy Richards
Manager of the Global Systems Institute (GSI).
Jane Wills
Director of the Environment and Sustainability Institute and Professor of Geography.
